First of all the Extended Stay America hotels are very bare minimum hotels. They are a little high price for what you are getting. They do accept pets but that is about the only positive. The Internet is not free and it is very slow. The front desk staff is not very knowledgeable or efficient about the check in/out process. There is a fitness center but it is not on site. The beds were very uncomfortable and the chair was not nice. The room did have a nice TV. A day or two in this chain of hotels is OK but anything longer than that you will wish you looked harder for another place. There is a Staybridge just down the road from this hotel that will work with you on price for a extended stay and is much nicer and not much more money. They even have food catered in 3 nights a week there.

Cheap rates, but filthy room that smelled bad and the carpet and chair in the room were dirty.Along with the kitchen.

My husband and I take many weekend trips into Columbus, so we're quite familiar with the areas around Polaris and Dublin. On this particular weekend, we were unable to book anything due to OSU's football schedule. So, I was forced to book a room at this particular
Extended Stay knowing that it received bad reviews at other sites.

Thank goodness we only had to stay one night. Upon entering the room,
we knew from the first whiff that it wasn't going to be pleasant stay. By the next morning, we figured out the origin of the smoky smell - from the bathroom next door. We had the window open most of our stay, but it didn't help at all.

This property needs the following:
a) Thorough cleaning and vacuuming -found hairballs in the washroom and kitchenette b) A new coat of paint and updated bathroom fixtures.

It's a bad value at $74.99/night - plus an added charge of $4.99 for internet use.

I would advise travelers to avoid Extended Stay hotels unless they are marked as renovated. In the past, I believed that I was getting
better service and value from Extended Stay, but that's not true today.
