Checked in and reported I would have a pet staying in the room sometime during the 48 hour stay. Next morning, the manager knocked on my room (Do Not Disturb Posted) and wanted to know if I had a pet in the room.. I said yes and told her I had reported it at check in (I transport Pets and had discussed this with the check in clerk) She said she had checked the paperwork and I had not payed the $30 (Average around the country is closer to $5 to $10) (which she dispited to my face) pet fee. I told her I did not review the bill, that if it was not on there it was her clerks mistake. In addition we informed her that we had made several trips through the lobby both last evening in front of the same clerk, as well as another one later in the evening as well as today. If we had been attempting to hide the dog we would obviously not been so blatant. She was quite obnoxious and rude and accusatory, basically saying I was lying. The front desk clerk also said I did not tell her,(according to the manager) forgetting the entire "conversation" we had. As well as the fact the dog was walked in front of her twice, and a carrier brought in for it to sleep in, again in front of her.
The one positive note....the house cleaning staff is really wonderful, friendly, outgoing and helpful in all things.
Breakfast not bad.
Highly overpriced... stay at a Motel 6 or closer to the interstate..
