I got this place for a steal off an auction site (less than the Motel 6 posted rates) when we had to stay in Columbus for an evening while visiting family in the area. It was a bit awkward to get to, being in an industrial and strip-mall laden area off a freeway loop not near any attractions or downtown, but in a safe suburb near a movie theater and some chain restaurants. Like most Sheratons it caters to business travelers, but on the Saturday night we were there all you saw were families and participants in a local high school volleyball tournament. The room was nice, with French doors cordoning off the main bed from the sitting/work area. Having two small kids, this meant we could separate the sleeper sofa and crib away from us for the night, which is an unexpected treat for a hotel stay. Of course, nothing is free at a Sheraton so we had to hide the pricey water bottle from the children's' exploring hands and pay for the wifi. There is an indoor and an outdoor pool, the latter being too crowded for my tastes so the kids and I stayed in the standard indoor square box of chlorinated water. Even with all the younger-than-average travelers staying at the property noise was not an issue anywhere we went. The staff we interracted with were all very nice, and I wish I could find where I wrote down the name of the desk manager who greeted us because he was incredibly helpful with some requests we had (an African-American gentleman by the name of Andre or Alexander I believe). All-in-all, we were quite please with the stay and had no negative issues with this hotel.
