We were headed down to Columbus to do some late night partying with friends so decided to book this hotel due to its more northern proximity. Check in was smooth, we dropped our bags, jumped on the internet in the lobby (they charge for in room internet usage) and then went out for the night. We arrived back at the hotel at about 3am and went directly to sleep only to be jarred awake at 8:20 in the morning by the cleaning lady trying to get in our room. This was definitely a first for us. After shouting from our bed at the top of our lungs for her to go away she finally left us alone. Not exactly the relaxing morning we were looking for! Other than that snafus, the hotel was pretty clean, a little worn, but the front desk people were very polite and helpful. Beds were not very comfortable (firm and pitted) but the linens were pretty nice. Could use some deep cleaning, painting and new wallpaper where it is beginning to bubble. Just those kind of maintainance issues.

Typical Sheraton Suites with a nice location close to very good chain restaurants including some nice steakhouses. I like the Suite properties because the separate bedrooms make it nice and quiet. This is a well run property.

We stayed here in mid October for a long weekend, getting a great rate on Priceline. We did not eat there so cannot comment on the food. We did have 3 minor issues with the room. There was one tile missing from the bathroom floor. The freezer in the frig had not been defrosted in awhile and had a couple of inches of ice. We were not able to keep ice cream frozen in there. The upholstery on the foldout couch was unraveling. We did not try to use it but figure it would not be comfortable at all. That said, we still like this hotel. The extra space with the second TV and french door make for a great stay. The king bed is wonderful too. The folks at the front desk are fine. We have family in CMH and will be staying here again I am sure.

I stayed at the Sheraton Columbus for 7 nights in October. Overall I was very pleased with the stay. I booked the trip directly with the hotel, Kyle was extremely helpful in getting the reservation all taken care of.
The check-in process was quick and got to our rooms after a long day on the road.

The rooms are well laid out, separate room with a tv, couch, and computer table which was nice for watching the games on the weekend. There was also a TV in the bedroom.

The pool and exercise room were enjoyable and not terribly busy which was nice after a long day at the office.

Although I understand it is likely for security purposes I found having to put the key in the elevator to access our floor a bit of a nuissance.

The area around the hotel is nice, movie theatre right across the street and plenty of restaurants in the vicinity.

As a Platinum Guest I was given free internet as well as free breakfast in the mornings.
The internet was problematic. On more than one occasion during the week I wasn’t able to connect and since the service is outsourced the front desk is unable to help you except to forward your call along to AT&T. They were always able to solve the problem (crashed servers or other problems on their end), but ended up wasting over an hour on the phone with them during the week.
The breakfast was good. After staying at another hotel the week prior I enjoyed the fact that they were real eggs. The only thing I would suggest here is for a little more variety. Breakfast was essentially the same each day except I think they swapped out French Toast and Pancakes.

One aspect of the stay which I was pleasantly surprised with was the way staff recognized and remembered me (by name). After being there only a day or two when I would see the staff members they would greet me by name. That personalized service was impressive.

Overall, I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again. I’m here for a couple weeks a year on business and have stayed at many of the local hotels and this is my favourite!
