Stayed here for a cheer competition at OSU for my daughter. The hotel lobby was very chilly upon check in. I had reserved a room with 2 Queen beds and when we got to our room realized we had 2 Double beds (and a crib in the room which we had NOT requested). Called the guy at the front desk who said it was because he was trying to get us close to another room in our party. I told him we would rather have the larger beds as reserved. He said he would have to double check the room situation and call me back in 5 mins. He did call back and said he could move us 6 rooms down the hall. We moved to a new room with the right size beds but I must say I don't think the bathroom had been cleaned completely. It smelled of bleach but the toilet seat looked like it had JUST been wiped down and the shower had a couple of long, dark hairs in it. The guy from the front desk actually came up to move us leaving the front desk unattended. The room itself was ok. We were aware this wasn't a top notch hotel but there were a lot of cracks where the ceiling met the wall around the room and bathroom. We took the kids to the pool area to swim and we had to got through a door, down a hallway that seem to connect 2 different buildings. The hallway was freezing and so was the pool area. I went to the front desk to get towels and by the time I got back (10 - 15 mins b/c there was a lengthy check in before me), the kids were ready to go back to the room because they were so cold. The next morning when we went for breakfast it was also quite cold. I have never stayed in a hotel that had such cold areas in it. Also, it seemed that the 1 single front desk person was in charge of everything which made it hard to give good service to more than one person at a time.
