The hotel is great. Our room opens up right to the pool, which is good for the kids. Very clean, open and friendly.

We stayed overnight at this hotel on our last visit to Columbus. The staff is friendly. The room was small and lacked a microwave and refrigerator. They do not have a complimentary breakfast, they charge $9.00 per person for a continental breakfast. The only mirrors in the the room were in the bathroom. The pop machines on all three floors were not working. The ice machine was out of order. The pool and whirpool were in operation and there are plenty of towels. We will stay at another hotel on our next visit to Columbus.

Our second time staying at this Marriott was a a better experience. The room was wonderful, decorative, and soothing. The internet kiosk was a good one with fast connections. Staff was ameniable and unobtrusive. We were left alone, and that was good. Nice location too.

On our first night went to bar and ordered Manhattan, bar tender says um, what's in it. I told him, and he said I'm short on bitters, I said ok, then he said I'm short on cherrys. Oh well. Second night we went to pool and it was too cold to get into so went to whirlpool and set timer and nothing happened. Front desk said it had a bad motor. What a dissapointment to an otherwise nice stay.
