we arrived to the hotel wondering where the main entrance was. it looked like a side entrance. the industrial park sign seemed to imply you would find all these businesses there- they must have been down the road. upon entry, you find yourself in an ante-room, one where there is bullet-proof glass through which you can address the staff. hmm, I said, what kind of hotels have these? usually ones I don't want to stay at. so i was on the alert. we got to the room, it was cleaned to within an inch of its life, it seemed- a somewhat strong odor of cleaning materials. maybe they had vacuumed the carpets? took 15 min to get the smell cleared out with air conditioning (which worked extremely well). I kept checking my car, as I was "suspicious". but the night passed well, car was fine. beds were comfortable, all outlets worked..(seems to crop up frequently that they don't, and we can't recharge our cells). only oddity was the entry light which had no cover so was over-bright, so we turned it off. Breakfast was satisfactory: waffles, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, donuts, small bagels. pretty much all i needed. never figured how the syrup dispensor was supposed to work. the attendant filled it, then tried to wipe it off and handed it to me with syrup everywhere. eww. had to use it, run and wash hands then come back to eat. I don't think the food area was serviced much. if they ran out, they were out. all in all, we were very comfortable, and all went well. Aside from my suspicions, and some very minor things, it was a nice quiet stay.
