We started out from Salina, KS that morning; after rolling through KS, MO, IL, IND, and half of Ohio, we started phoning for a room on I71 just north of Columbus. Too late for places we called. But the kind lady at the Best Western held one of her last rooms for us. A queen bed (and an accessible room -- we didn't need one) at an AAA rate that totaled $100 at checkout. Not bad. Nearby Polaris Grill turned out to be a wonderful restaurant, and the late pool hours at the hotel meant I had time to enjoy the best indoor pool of our transcontinental trip. Good times.

We stayed at the Best Western for our sons football game. Eventhough the hotel is situated outside of Columbus, getting to the game was easy. Staff were extremely helpful. The rooms are big! Beds are comfortable.
Breakfast is very large and plenty to chose from. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We had been staying at downtown Renaissance locations in Columbus and Cleveland and decided to give the BW a try at Polaris. Excellent value, excellent staff and excellent location. No complaints, keep up the good work! By the way, I'm normally cranky about hotels, so this is a good review. Quiet, restful, clean and spacious. Only problems, pool was closed and the limited hours on the fitness center.We had a 6am flight and I didn't get to work out. Otherwise, excellent.

We normally are a family of 4 but my niece joined us in Columbus for the weekend for the Justin Bieber concert :) We were pleasantly surprised by the suite we had. Two queen beds in one room. The other room had a kitchen area with separate sink, refrigerator and counter, table/chairs, a couch that pulled out to a bed and a large desk with internet access, plus another large tv. The bath area was separate from the sleeping area. Just massive amount of space for a hotel room(wish I could find one this nice in Virginia Beach :) ) Only two small complaints. They had "shams" for towels at the pool. They were larger than a wash cloth but smaller than a hand towel. You needed 3-4 of them to just dry off, and thus, many people walked out of the pool area wet and dripping. Truly, a regular towel would be much better. I can see cutting cost, but really you are saving nothing with the small "sham". The only other small detail was there was no sheets for the pull out couch due to "sanitary" reasons. But they didnt' tell us that. We had 5 on our reservation and then had to go down to the front desk ourselves to get the sheets. We were all ready for bed by the time we figured this out. Breakfast was fair, eggs, sausage, toast/english muffins, a few cereals and a few danishes to chose from. Enough to get us started on our day. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Super close to the Polaris mall and about 10-15 min from the zoo.
