Instead of having a digitial thermostat, you just have to set a dial on the window unit and choose high or low fan. So, you basically have the unit blowing on you all night, which can be an issue for those with allergies or who are prone to sore throats overnight in such circumstances. Also, the towels need to be replaced. They have absolutely no absorbency left in them. But the bed linens seemed fine and the bathroom was in good shape. Overall, the place was fine for the price.

The last time we stayed here, we had a kind suite with a sitting area, which was much nicer than the double room we had this time.

LIked most: Excellent dining room in lovely colors, Recently renovated, Has a strip mall 3 mintues walk with varous eating places and a Krogers supermarket, Very Responsive staff, continental Breakfast included, Gets good crowd. They do their best to guide the travelers and make them comfortable

Disliked: No variation in breakfast over a weeklong stay, one regular staff in a hurry to close it before time, rooms rather small, Suites are also cramped

Ended up staying here for a week.......attended our daughter's graduation from OSU which was within walking distance and then ended up staying three extra days --extending one at a time--to get our daughter's car fixed. The hotel was spotless, the breakfast was in a large, comfortable room with two large TV's and the largest assortment of included breakfast food we've ever seen. The gentleman who took care of the breakfast was extremely friendly and always monitoring the food needs to replenish when necessary. Housekeeping was excellent and front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. We will be there for another graduation next year.

Upon arrival at this Inn at 11:30 pm there was a line of people 4 deep attempting to check in. I say attempting as the gentleman staffing the front desk was totally and completely incapable of actually doing his job. To make a long story short he ended up double billing me for my room, and at a rack rate substantially higher than that at which the reservation was made. I spend 100 plus nights in hotels in the course of my business, and this level of incompetence was truly unusual and outstanding. I straggly recommend against this Fairfield Inn location.
