Good things first: Great price, friendly and helpful staff, great location near shopping and restaurants, and a spacious room with full kitchen and iron/ironing board. The room was very clean aside from a badly stained easy chair.

Bad things: No hairdryer in room (you can borrow one at the front desk, but they only have a handful available on a first-come first-served basis); no shampoo in room (there is a vending machine in the laundry room that sells snacks and little one-use packets of shampoo for 2/$1); the smoking rooms definitely smell like smoking rooms. I did not request a room change because I got in late and was leaving early, but I wish I had: the smell bothered me all night even with the windows open, and my clothing smelled the next day.

Knowing what I know now, I would stay there again but I would bring a hairdryer and all supplies and make sure my room was a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor.

My husband and I come to Columbus ALOT! It's my hometown, but now I live in Michigan (that state up north!). We always go through priceline and put in the general area where we want to stay and you can name your own price! We always get this room for between $28 and $32 a night! It's clean, it has a kitchen, with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, a nice queen sized bed and cable tv. Every time I click on the Worthington, Dublin area, and name my own price, they always send me to the Extended Stay North. I always hope that they continue to do so! I am planning a vacation with my aunt in April and we have already booked our room at this hotel! i got lucky again going through priceline! The only thing you may want to bring extra is a NON STICK pan or two and some dishwashing soap and a hair dryer if you need one. They have pots and pans, but they are NOT the non stick kind! They have a refridgerator-freezer and a small stove, microwave and coffee pot. It's not fancy but it's clean and roomy and everything has been in working order for us, so far. They have a night guard who watches your cars overnight although it seems like a nice neighborhood. I would highly recommend this hotel to ANYONE who asks me!

I called this hotel to see how old it was. The clerk said that it was 10 years old. So I went ahead and booked a room. When I got to my room, there was a lot of hair in the bathtub. I ran some water in the tub to remove the hair. Then the tub got stopped up! I went to the office and informed the clerk. She said that all of their tubs drain very slow. The floor was also squeaky in the room. I reserved a non smoking room, however there were cigarette ashes on the AC unit. I was given another room. This room had small crumbs of food on the floor. As well as hiar in the shower stall. The bathroom mirror had water spots all over it. Evidently the housekeeping staff is not doing their job. The dresser and desk top was dirty. I went to Giant Eagle and bought some surface cleaner. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. No wonder their prices are so cheap.
