We stayed at this location for 2 nights when we were in town for a wedding. This hotel was in the same general area as the official hotel for the wedding but the cost was less than half what we would have paid at the other place.
** The room itself was little more worn than I had expected from the web site photos, but it was absolutely fine. We were looking for basics (clean room, clean bathroom) and we got them. Note that this has the feel of short-term apartments more than a hotel, so (for example) you do get a toaster in the room, but you don't get a hairdryer. Considering the cost differential with the more expensive place where the wedding was held, what we got for what we paid was great.
** The bed was a little stiff for my taste, but again, it was fine. I went down to get some extra pillows, which the clerk had difficulty finding since they were almost completely booked for the weekend and we checked in pretty late. She did manage to find two for us, so it ended well.
** We were busy running around with wedding things, so we did not end up using the kitchen at all. I can see that it would be very handy if you were staying for a longer period of time. And there is a large grocery store in the same general shopping complex -- I would imagine that would be very convenient.
** Warning -- the directions that Mapquest gives to find the hotel are very confusing. The hotel is part of a shopping/restaurants/offices/hotels complex -- lots of internal "access roads" that Mapquest did not understand. After driving around for a while, I ended up calling the front desk on my cell phone -- the woman at the hotel then talked me in.

Nothing fancy, but a nice enough place that was quiet and clean and had a decent number of stations on the TV. Making your own breakfast beats paying extra for the stale donuts many places give you. The ambitious can even walk to the Giant Eagle supermarket down the street. The location is convenient off I-71, one exit down from I-270. The staff was helpful, though, on check-out, a bit confused about the $20 refund due from an e-mailed promotion. ExtendedStay should simply deduct the $20 up front when they charge you at check-in, but that sounds like a corporate issue. All in all, if you don't care that they won't change the sheets daily (do you do that at home?) this is a fine place.

I had to stay one Saturday night in the Columbus area for leisure. I checked orbitz and this ExtendedStay America came up as the lowest priced hotel in the area I was searching. So although i did not need a studio room, i booked anyways since it was cheaper than the Red Roof right nextdoor.

The front desk staff is not exceptional, but I have no complaints either.

The building is easy to access from the highway, and has many restaraunts and retail nearby. One plus for business travelers staying a while is a large grocery store very close by.

The room itself is standard. Everything was in working order and clean. Even though i was only there one night, i appreciated the recliner chair in front of the TV. The kitchen was actually a portion of the room, and not really seperate. The range top was a 2-burner type, if that interests you. The refridgerator was full-size.

There was no pool. There is a large laundry room downstairs by the front desk.

If my plans take me back to Columbus, I would stay at this hotel again. There is a lot of competition in the immediate area though, so check around if your budget allows it.
