I expected more of the Doubletree Guest Suites in terms of the room furnishings. I was disappointed that the furniture looked old and worn which immediately feel like I was in a place that was less than 3 stars. The layout of the room is very spacious with a kitchenette that includes a mini-fridge, microwave and sink. That is a nice feature and made the room feel more comfortable like home. Since the rooms are suites there is also a separate sitting room with a desk, TV and sofa (possibly a pull out). The room service was reasonably priced in my opinion and the staff was very friendly. So though I expected better furnishings the overall experience was fine. I definitely would have given an overall rating of "Very Good" if the furniture was in better shape.

If you are in the area for business, theater or COSI it's a great location. The hotel was comfortable and clean. The suites are so spAcious. Bed and pillows were comfy. Pull out couch NOT so comfy. Mini kitchen with micro and frig were great and the housekeeping was very generous with whatever amenities we needed :) overall excellent stay. Only negative not alot of restaurant/store options especially on the weekend this is a business district.

This hotel is a nice location with large suites and a reasonable price. My stay started poorly as I arrived early because of a flight (about 11 am). The front desk clerk didn't even look up my reservation to see if my room was ready but told me to come back five hours later (at 4). I left to get lunch, came back, and wa greeted by a more helpful clerk, who got me in a room right away.

This is the 2nd year my husband and I stayed here to see the Bruins play the Blue Jackets. It is obviously an older hotel but the rooms are huge and clean with a refridgerator and microwave. The front desk was great, (we checked in 12/10/11 at 3pm) a new desk clerk was training. She couldn't have been nicer. She forgot to give us the beloved hot cookie upon check in but her great attitude and hospitality made us forget. Also, we stopped by the desk after the game about 10:20pm and the man at the front desk was just as great! People just don't get it anymore how far simple hospitality goes! We'll be back in 2012!
