This was a great stay, everything was like new. Room was very unique. Sliding doors to the bathroom etc. The lobby was very nice, wanted to hang out there for a while, however this is no reason not to stay there, but They do not have soft drinks at the bar, i sat down, requested an iced tea and was going to watch some TV with all the people around people (I hate sitting in my room all night) and the bar tender basically told me, "sorry we don't sell soft drinks at the bar, they sell them at the front desk", when I asked about just getting a iced tea or a soda, (which they have for mixers) he said they are only for their drinks. Dumb little thing, but its an oversight.
Other than that perfect spot to stay. Walk out the door to sub shops and gas stations. walking distance to fast food and very casual dining (Bob Evans etc) Found a neat restaurant up the road a mile or two called Piada Italian Street food, was a nice find and tasty
One thing, No one mentioned to me that large freight trains will go by the back of the Hotel until 11:00 at night (they may go later, but I never heard them after the late news. Now dont get me wrong, great hotel, good service, clean, but that made me very nervous. I waited till 11:00 after the thrid train went by, and then they seem to stop, but I was worried that they may keep up all night, So, ask for a room on the front of the hotel, if not ask for a reduced rate.
