Well we always seem to have problems with finding hotels that do accept pets. We normally always try to find a Motel 6 since they are very pet friendly. But considering we like to stay near German Village that is not a option. But we have stayed at the German Village Inn many times over the past year actually leaving out this evening after work and have already made reservations for the German Village Inn. We have stayed at several HIGH DOLLAR hotels in Columbus and paid HIGH amounts for the dog to beable to stay with us. But at German Village Inn the fee is very low which is a plus and the charge for the room is very fair. Ourselfs we feel that the only thing we use the room for is to sleep so we have just decided that the German Village Inn is a great place to stay. Pet Friendly is the plus as Im sure others have ran into this issue. But everyone has always been very nice to us at this hotel and we have never had any problems. And to be honest we was really shocked that the rooms was as nice as they was. I expected alot worse. But if you just looking for a pet friendly, safe area, close to german village hotel then this is the place for you.

When we entered the room, the smell smacked me in the face. It was like someone had just finished smoking a cigar. The furniture was dirty and in terrible shape. The beds were crap and the sheets didn't appear to be very clean. Small TV and the air conditioning vent looked like it had never been cleaned. When we turned it on, it smelled horrible.

We left immediately, waving to the prostitute hanging out near the lobby. If you're looking for a good night's sleep don't stay here.

We love the German Village area, so we thought we'd give this hotel a try.

When we checked in, the gentleman was on the phone, and pretty much ignored us, eventually he ran our credit card and gave us a key.

The room was horrible. It smelled musty and a bit smoky (it was a non-smoking room), there were a bunch of large flies buzzing around and the AC never got cold. There was water damage in the bathroom, and a large quantity of mold between the clear light switchplate and the wall.

We debated staying for a few minutes, and quickly realized that we'd never be able to sleep in a hot stinky room with flies buzzing about.

Avoid this hotel!

The hotel room was clean and roomy. I liked that the sink was outside the lavatory. Not a lot of extras (i.e. shampoo, etc.) but that's okay because I take my own anyway and I'd rather save the money. If you want fancy, this isn't the place for you but if you want comfortable and inexpensive, it most definitely is.
