My wife and I stayed at the Das Dutch Village Inn over Thanksgiving in a King bed room with fireplace. The room was about twice the size of a typical hotel room with a full couch, desk and chest of drawers. In addition, the in-room coffee maker, new iron and board, new hairdryer and other items showed the care the hotel pays to its facilities. The room also has two vanities, one in with the shower/lav area and one just outside it. It makes getting ready in the morning that much simpler. Finally, the continental breakfast was excellent. Bagels, english muffins, donuts, coffe cake, cold cereal, OJ, coffee, skim and 2% milk were plentiful. We didn't try the pool but it looked nice. The lobby also serves Starbucks. We'll be staying there again over Christmas for a couple of days.

The only thing I wish they had in the room was a recliner or maybe an ottoman near the couch to put my feet up while watching the flat screen TV over the fireplace.

Girlfriends weekend was enhanced by a large room with 2 queen beds, a table and chairs, 2 sinks, whirlpool tub, kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, sink, dishes. It was much more than a room!

Just returned from a one night stay. Attended a family wedding reception held in their banquet rooms. Overall rating would be excellent. Property is spotless and well groomed. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Food at reception was excellent. Pool was clean and private. Many rooms were booked for the same wedding. The restaurant was closed on Sundays when most fere looking for a full breakfast to fuel for the ride home.

My mom & I just returned from a brief stay at DDVI over the weekend after visiting Shaker Woods festival. Our room was lovely. HUGE bathroom, nice accomodations. Great continental breakfast. Lovely pool and hot tub. This property is 10 years old, but still looks brand new. This property is right near the DD Haus Restaurant and several gift shops too. Would definately return when going back to visit the area.
