I visited Cleveland for orchestra and ballgame. So my purpose was just walking around downtown. Accordingly, I wanted to find a hotel with public transportation available. (I don't like driving around downtown area.) Then, I picked up this hotel.

In fact, this hotel is not too close to Cleveland downtown but close to airport, highway and commuter train station (Just 5minutes walk for station. You can get to downtown within 20minutes train ride. Trains run every 20minuts.) So if you don't want drive around Cleveland, this hotel is not a bad selection as hotel charge is just half compared to the hotels in downtown.

Accommodation has a good value for its price. The quality of bed, pillow, covers is excellent. They have a good-size swimming pool and a fair-size fitness room. One problem is they don't provide complimentary breakfast. However, you can find a good convenience store in the gas station next to this hotel. The family type restaurant is located next to this hotel. Within a few minutes drive, you will find some other restaurants, too.

At night time, you can visit bar/restaurant in the first floor. I cannot say it is great but at least you can sip some drinks inside your hotel. Isn't it important for you?

As you can imagine, this is not a luxury type hotel at all but I think this is one of the options in Cleveland if you are looking for some reasonable hotel with convenient location and comfort.

From the outside it looks like any 5 floor HI. Obviously it has been here awhile. Plenty of parking, local BP station within walking distance, and I had a great, reasonable priced meal close by at Somer's.
Small bathroom, tube TV but newer style HI bedding. AC worked fine. Room and the property itself was clean.
Wireless works well and I noticed they have a very large, indoor pool which looks like if you are traveling with kids, they would enjoy.

They have one bank of three elevators which were all working with minimum wait time.

This hotel is nothing fancy but it serves it purpose as a good choice for an airport hotel.

The room was large. The bathroom was small. The carpets are a bit worn and dirty but the bedding was nice. The hotel/bar on property closes at 10PM during the week so didn't spend too much time down there except for breakfast and drinks after work. The pool looked nice but I didn't try it out. Fitness room looked like it had everything one would need to work out. If you drive 2 miles away to Lorain and Rocky River Drive, there some good bars and restaurants in a nice area. West Park Station, PJ McIntyres, Paninis, Si Senior, etc... Overall the stay was good.

This was an older Holiday Inn that had a recent upgrade. This one was done nice. The whole place has been updated. Room was fine, no complaints. I was really blown away with the bar/grille downstairs. The food was awesome! Limited menu but the selections were very good. This place was better than your Tgi Friday and other chain restaurants. Zach behind the bar was great.
