Very clean hotel, very nice clean pool area. Good breakfast with some hot items. Location is great with many stores and restaurants close by. The city is just 14 minutes away. The rooms are not super big just your average size motel rooms but everything very clean and plenty of sheets and pillows. The front desk lady was very nice and even give me some pointers of stuff to do around the area. My only complain would be that we was on one of those rooms that have a door to attach to another room and you can hear everything! including a baby crying all night! but of course this was not the hotel foult and there is nothing you can do when kids are that small so I didn't want to complain about it. So maybe just ask not to be put in one of those rooms. Another great afordable Best western hotel.

We were not pleased with our check-in experience. We had booked through Priceline and the check-in clerk insisted that our room would therefore be a smoking room. After much hassle and time we were finally given a non-smoking room. It was a very unfriendly way to begin our stay. The room was acceptable but some of the furniture was a little worn. The pool area is nice and the breakfast was favorable. It is in a good location that is convenient to shopping and restaurants. One big drawback for us was the fact that they do not allow pets.

I told the Hotwire search engine to find me a hotel in/near Blacklick, OH, so I'm not sure why this property was listed because it was pretty far.

Pros: conveniently located in nice area near the interstate and several nice restaurants, Walmart, Walgreens, Kroger, Bob Evans O'Charley's; rooms were comfortable; breakfast was better than most; quiet; free wi-fi; rooms have pretty large fridge and a microwave

Cons: service was just okay; after our first night, the cleaning staff replaced the towels, but didn't make the beds and we had to ask the front desk to remind them to do so for the following day; the tv was old, not the flat panels most hotels now have; I needed to print a document, but the "business center" computer didn't have Acrobat Reader; room and, especially, bathrooms quite small.

Overall, I would recommend the Best Western Canal Winchester. It was tidy and comfortable and a good value for the price paid.

Had reserved two non-smoking rooms through Hotwire two weeks prior to arrival. Checkin experience runined the stay and weekend. Lady Employee very rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful.
Forced us to take Handicap room to get non smoking room or loose payment to Hotwire. Room had no place to put shaving kit or wifes makeup. Sink only with no counter top and very poor lighting.
Only 22 cars in parking lot but checkin clerk said they had no non smoking rooms left. The Hotel looked almost empty to me.
Hotel clerk appeared to be upset because we had booked room with Hotwire and didn't checkin until 9 p.m.
I won't be coming back....
