All i have to say is someone stole my laptop from my room while i was out at work!! Key cards were looked at and matinence and housekeeping were both in my room!!! They both denied taking it of course!!! Hotel staff(especially Randy the manager) seemed not to care or want to discuss it!!!!(surprise!!!) I had to repeatedly call him,never did he call with any information!!! Now they are telling me they are not responsible!!!!!! These people are still working there and have access to all rooms..Pretty scary and really shady operation there!!! I will not ever stay at Best Western again because of this!!! You are on your own in there hotels!!! BRING A NANNY CAM IF U STAY HERE FOR YOUR OWN SECURITY!!!!!!

we stayed here, near the IX to attend a food network show. we had a coupon from the ohio traveler's booklet and our stay of 3 nights was inexpensive, quiet, (a necessity for me), and comfortable. the rooms were large enough, clean, and they had free wi fi, however s l o w. the am breakfast was usual, maybe less so. but the staff was great, friendly, helpful, talkative, interested, and even caring. the shuttle bus drivers, willie, tahli, and randy were fantastic. they were everywhere we needed them to be and on time and friendly and helpful. the gal at the front desk was great, too. we talked about our foodie experiences and she was a sweet gal. we loved this staff here. next year, we will return. thanks, guys.

Stayed here one night prior to an early flight. Very reasonable rate which included a free shuttle to/from the airport. One thing to consider about the shuttle -- only leaves every hour on the half hour.

The hotel itself was recently renovated. Very contemporary rooms that were spotless. There was a comfy sitting chair with an ottoman, desk with chair, and very comfortable bedding. The room was very clean as was the bathroom. Basic toiletries were provided (soap, shampoo, lotion) and there was a sign indicating any other basic toiletries were available at the front desk.

If you get a room on the south side of the hotel, be prepared to have no view at all. The windows of all the rooms are frosted. Light comes through, but nothing else. The hotel borders a residential neighborhood and for the privacy of both the guests and the people in their homes -- all the windows on that side are frosted. The more I think about it, the more it makes sense. After all, you're not staying here for the view.

Our room was right next to the elevator. At first I was worried about the noise. However, once inside the room, we couldn't hear a peep.

There was also a very large indoor swimming pool, which we did not use. There was also free breakfast -- mostly continental, but you could also make your own waffles.

The shuttle driver was probably the most prompt, professional driver I've ever experienced.

There is also Bob Evans directly across the street from the hotel and a lot of restaurants down the road.

Overall -- you really can't beat this hotel in terms of updated rooms, comfort, price, and service. I will be staying here any time I have a very early flight out of Hopkins.

My friend and I recently stayed at this Best Western for three nights. I was concerned with some of the reviews I've read, such as the ones talking about how the second floor smelled of smoke. I ended up staying on this floor and I could smell cigarette smoke, but it wasn't nearly as bad as some reviews made it out to be. It didn't bother me at all. In fact, my friend didn't even notice the smell until I said something about it. The room was nice, the beds were big, and there were the usual ammenties. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The only complaint my friend and I had was that the curtains wouldn't close completely allowing street lights to shine in through the window. I don't know if all of the rooms have this problem, but it wasn't that big of a deal and we were crafty enough to block out most of the light. I would stay there again.
