“Nice People, Nice Price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 November 2010

The staff was very nice and speedy with check-in and check-out. The coffee pot had not been cleaned since the previous user and the bathroom showed signs of age, other than that the room was clean. It was very cold when we checked in, we set the thermostat to 70 to get the room warm when we arrived at 8:30, and the heater did not turn off until the middle of the night. But it helped drown out the noise from the expressway. The breakfast room was nicely furnished and clean and had a television and USA Today. The food available was standard Days Inn fare - white bread, white bagels, sugary cereals, apple and orange juice. They also had plastic wrapped pastries which could have been packed as a snack.

All in all, having paid less than $48 for the room, I feel I got my money's worth, but I will not be in a rush to stay there again.

“BEST IN THE AREA... WILL RETURN AGAIN!*****”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 August 2010

I stayed in Bowling Green with a few other couples and stopped there on our road trip, I must say the property is very well groomed and the rooms were NEWLY RENOVATED! The beds and the sheets where very clean. For the two night stay I noticed the rooms where kept up, I must acknowledge the front desk staff was not only friendly but helpful to accommodate me with the best restaurants in town and the things to do in the area, and also if I needed anything extra I simply called the front desk and they would bring me an extra set of towels. I have stayed in many hotels/ motels in my day and I must say for a motel near the freeway it is in tip top shape and is very well kept up! It's a great place to stay for the value and I plan to return again on my next road trip!

“Do not stay here they have bed bugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 August 2010

I stayed here on a business trip to Bowling Green. I received several bites and suspected bed bugs. I looked at the corners of the mattress and there were blood stains, which indicates bed bug infestation.

“Days Inn is a good place to stay when visiting BGSU.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 September 2009

I would recommend Days Inn for parents/grandparents visiting their student at BGSU. It is a good value for the price. The front desk people were friendly and competent. Days Inn at Bowling Green is pet friendly which is important to me. There is an ample grassy area to exercise the dog. The room was fresh and clean, very comfortable bed, 3 plump pillows. My granddaughter spent the night with me and her beloved dog. She used the outdoor pool which was very inviting. There is a complimentary continental breakfast but we slept in and didn't sample it. I will stay at Days Inn again.

“Now we know where NOT to stay!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 July 2009

For some reason the Days Inn BG Ohio comes up with the link to Knights Inn BG- my review is for the "new" Days Inn behind Bob Evans. I say "new" bec/several other travelers on this site have indicated the new and improved rooms were great. I guess I wouldn't have wanted to see them before the renovations. While there were fresh paint and tile, our tp holder was broken, tub was damaged, there was an opoen bag of doritos and toys under my daughter's bed, dusty chairs/phone, and a broken TV remote. No sign made it very hard to find in the dark and beer cans all over the parking lot and sidewalk when we woke up in the morning. Pay the extra $50 and stay at another hotel! Scary!
