I came to this hotel exhausted after a 17 hour day, and I was so pleased with the level of service I received. The man at the front desk was courteous and gave a good trucker discount on a room with two double beds and even gave me a room where I could park my truck across from the door.
When I went to the door, the first thing I noticed was no window. My heart sank a little, thinking this would be a glorified jail cell. Thankfully, when I walked in, that opinion changed. Clean doesn't begin to describe it. The beds had three big soft pillows each, not the flattened sad ones I've become accustomed to from other chains. The window was on the other side of the room facing the pool with another available door to access it. Everything was perfectly placed and available.
Then my room's phone rang. It was the front desk asking if everything was okay with the room. My jaw dropped since I've never been asked before. Usually if something was wrong, I would need to call them. It's a level of service that has unfortunately fallen to the wayside and I commend this hotel for caring enough about the customer to ask. They will always be my preferred stop when I'm in the area.
