Arrived having booked a 2 night stay - the pictures are so misleading. The hotel is dilapidated and VERY dirty. Our room was covered in dust and the hair dryer was ripped out of the wall. The staff was surly and even scary when we voiced our dissatisfaction with the cleanliness. We took out 2 kids and left. This place should be razed to the ground.

my husband and i stayed here for a few day getaway. it is conveniently located near attractions such as seneca caverns,railroad museum,historic lyme village, and only about a half hr from lake erie. the hotel itsself..well it is only rated a 2 star. if you're not very picky it was an ok place. we checked in early(at a $10 charge) due to expedia not listing correct times. so we get to the room and one bed isnt even finished made. dust everywhere and hair in the bathtub. the remote for the tv needed a code we werent aware of. and there were only 12 channels..10 that worked lol. thats ok wasnt really there for that. was happy to even find a room that allowed smoking so cant have everything i guess. the bar/lounge was not operating and the restaurant is not the family one serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. but a mexican restaurant. excellent place,just had to look farther for breakfast. in closing, not too bad a place for the price, but if they would try a little bit harder..such as a refridgerator in the room and maybe clean a wee bit better lol it could rate 3 stars.
