We spent a night here recently. It's a classic Fairfield Inn, so if you rate it against that class of hotel, I found it excellent. I guess it used to be some other chain, but Marriott has come in and completely remodeled it and runs it to the standards I expect from them.

Room was spacious, clean and well appointed.

Breakfast area is nice. We didn't use the pool.

There are a lot of restaurant choices within walking distance or a short auto ride.

We stayed here for 2 nights with our 8 year old just to get away. The hotel was very clean as was our room and the bathroom! Those working at the front desk were very friendly as were all the employees we encountered - especially one of the lifeguards at the pool! The breakfast was very good, waffles, bagels, muffins, fruit, cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee. The breakfast attendant was very nice and ready to help with the waffle iron. The indoor pool and water slide was the main reason we stayed at the hotel and though the pool water was on the cool side, it was a lot of fun! There is a Bob Evans right next door, Red Lobster across the street and down the strret is Bahama Breeze and Red Robin. All in all it was the perfect week end get a way and my son can't wait to go back!

I booked this trip from rewards points as a stopover for the night and just happened to read
some reviews on google about it. I could not believe the bad reviews it got because I found none of those were actually true! The front desk staff is just amazing, patiently explaining every single thing, breakfast attendant was also very nice (took transparent orange juice out of my mom's hand and changed it right away), hotel is renovated and clean.
You need wrist band for pool but it's completely understandable. Open internet access and in lobby they have (slow) computers you can also use internet from and print for free.
Breakfast could have a bit more healthy choices but for charging yourself for a few hours it's ok. Right off the highway - next to a Courtyard, which is usually higher quality but in this case value was way better and quality might even beat that of Courtyard.

We were very satisfied with our stay at the fairfield inn and suites in beachwood, ohio. I was a little nervous at first, because I had never stayed at a fairfield inn and assumed that it would be the motel 6/super 8 version of a marriott hotel. Luckily, my assumption was all wrong. This hotel was obviously recently renovated. The hotel lobby was very nice and inviting. The room looked very new with stylish modern decor and was very clean. The bathroom tub and tile/grout was the cleanest that I have seen in a hotel. The staff was very accomodating, we had no problem when we asked to be moved from the first floor to a higher floor. It was a little unconventional that they required that guests sign a contract that basically protected each guest from being disturbed from noise and confirmed the check-out policy/etc so that all would be clear. We did not mind this at all, because it ensured that we would have a nice quality stay.....and we did. This hotel is also in great location to many nice restaurants and shopping areas. They listed that there was a free continental breakfast, which would make one assume you will get fruit/pastries/juice. However, we actually had hot breakfast items in addition to the usual continental breakfast items. FYI to management, you may want to advertise it as FREE HOT BREAKFAST and give yourself the credit that you deserve. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!!
