Great hospitality from the hosts & a nice & quiet location. Highly recommended.

Jenny & Ciaran were the perfect host,hostest will recomend this b&b the room was beautiful and clean and the breakfast was perfect.

The Bellevue B&B is handily located at the top end of Mclaren Vale, in a good location for visiting the wineries. Ciaran was very helpful prior to arrival with lots of tips via email and was equally as friendly when we got there. The b&b is actually two modern rooms on either side of the hall with ensuite bathrooms and a shared lounge / dining area which we were lucky enough to have to ourselves. Little touches such as books that you can 'borrow' really made it welcoming.

The breakfast the next morning was outstanding. We had fruit / cereal / toast / passionfruit crepes / eggs / mushrooms etc (not all on the same plate). All served by the delightful Jenny. Please do make sure you allow an hour though as it really does take some time to get through it all.

The only point to note is that the shower is a little weak but I believe this is a function of the water restrictions in SA (as it was the best shower we had in our trip) rather than any reflection on the B&B.

This place had the best breakfast of any B & B we have ever stayed in. This is an experience worth taking the night for if you are a local! Ciaran sure knows how to cook and the 1 1/2 hour recommended time to eat was a sure hint that there was a gastronomical delight coming. Of course the rooms were comfortable and we were travelling with some friends so had both rooms here to ourselves. There are many extra touches that make this place special. We enjoyed a great tapas dinner at The Barn 100m away. Couldnt have been more perfect after lunch at D'arrys. Highly recommended.
