Basic, but spotlessly clean room in a sweet hotel. Gorgeous, well-cared for garden and pool area. All rooms have a small table and chairs outside facing the gardens. Proper peace and quiet apart from the Kookaburra!

A good stopover point on a car journey through the Tablelands. Kookaburra lodge rooms were more than adequate and the terrace garden was perfect for breakfast. The owners were very friendly and gave good advice about the area ,and a free PC in reception enabled us to catch up on our e mails. Nearby Flynns restaurant was excellent but the highlight of the visit was viewing the platypus along the riverbank.

Yungaburra is a good location for the Tablelands. The owner is very helpful and gives you lots of very good advice. The rooms are nice and the site is pretty. Value for money it is very good.

What a shame we only had one night a this lovely motel.
Yungaburra is a fabulous historic town. You are right out in the countryside, and there is a glorious sound of birds everywhere. The motel is charming, and we enjoyed breakfast on the veranda, overlooking the garden. This motel was great value, and I would love to go back one day.
If you are lucky (we were) you might be able to see a Duck Bill platapuss, down at the Creek. We were therein the late afternoon, and followed one down the creek.
