We stayed 2 nights in Braeside Cottage. We were blown away by the attention to detail, from the water bottles beside the beds, pillow mist spray, spare toothbrushes in the bathroom, an easel with quality paper, very well-equipped kitchen, even placecards for a formal dinner party! The heated bathroom floor was greatly appreciated, as were the complimentary treats in the fridge (local soft drinks, local apple juice, milk (full cream and lite!), and Tim Tams, and the L'Occitane toiletries. The cottage felt really private and special.
If you can manage to drag yourself away from the cottage to look around the area, we'd recommend the olive farm, Sutton's apple farm and cidery, and the cheese factory. They're all within 30mins drive. We also had dinner at Clauda's german restaurant which was good fun.
