We stayed at this resort during a recent sporting carnival..Room 13...The apartment is nicely laid out, very open and has a great balcony and has a modern fit out, very nice showers...beach facing but little direct view of beach since there are resorts across the road...but you can still hear the waves at night...

As stated by other reviews this is pushing to be called a 'resort", but has a nice pool with a spa attached...a smallish gym and a good massage/health clinic on the ground floor ( maybe because they helped with my myriad of sports injuries).

Location is close to shops, good for a look is the maroochy surf club..nice food and cold beer...there is a great Vietnamese just up the road and its open on a Sunday night ...then there is cotton tree down the road which has a good high street...a good butcher that opens at 7.00am...great for the bacon on sunday.....markets on a sunday where you can sit at the local cafe and listen to the live music, depending on who is playing of course..

I recommend this place if staying for a few or more days

My wife and I stayed here recently for 2 nights and thoughly enjoyed it .The staff was very welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay .The appartment was large, clean and well appointed. It was close to beach and shops.Outside and it it was well maintained.Would reccommend.

We recently stayed at Aqua Vista resort and we were a little unsure as to what to expect, but on arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the Foyer/Lobby presentation. Dont think that you could describe the building as a "resort" but comfortable never the less. Our room was clean but there were a few little spots and stains here and there. The room is due for a bit of a make over, especially the beds as the springs were worn out. All units are not rented out as there appeared to be some owners living in the building which is a good thing. The Gym was very basic but pool area quite pleasant.

Aqua vista is our 2nd home,having stayed there 5 times.All apartments we have stayed in are immaculate, clean and fresh, beds are so comfy. You dont need a car ,great bus service and easy walkiing to sunshine plaza, half hour walk to mooloolabah. Best of all the managers Alan and Aey are so friendly and obliging we love going just to see them. The caretaker Harry is very friendly and has the place spotless. Looking forward to our next stay.
