We recently spent 9 nights at Aqua vista and were very impressed with the apartments. They are a perfect size for a family, we had a two bedroom apt on level 6 with ocean views, while friends had a 3 bed on level 10 with ocean river and mountain views. Both were appointed very well with heaps of room for us all to enjoy a meal together. We phoned the resort direct and got a great deal for our stay. We were able to walk to the surf club and restaurants in the Cotton tree area.
Looking forward to our next trip to the Sunshine coast and will definitely stay at Aqua Vista again.

I stayed at Aqua Vista for two nights and received a great deal by phoning the owner direct.

My friends and I were impressed with the apartment and the views from the 11th floor, everything was top notch and very clean and functional. We discussed many times over the two nights how we planned to return as soon as possible, but one strange incident made us have second thoughts.

The owner graciously allowed us a late checkout for 1pm, at no additional charge, which was much appreciated. Imagine our surprise to return to our apartment at noon to find the owners coming out....
They were "checking the air conditoning wasn't left on" and commented that they thought we had "left the room like a pigsty".
This was disturbing on many levels. For one thing, the owner knew we were still in residence, he had just informed us of our late 1pm check out a matter of hours ago. Secondly, the room was in no way a pigsty, it had a usual amount of groceries and clothing visible in places, but nothing out of the ordinary.

I felt this unsolicited visit was invasive and suspicious, as the owner had specifically asked me whether we were planning to head out to breakfast soon, and I informed him we were.

Although the rest of the service was exemplary and the apartment was absolutely great, (internet was slightly unreliable however), I won't be returning because of this strange incident.

Just returned from our 3rd visit to Aqua Vista, now cant wait to go again. The rooms are so clean and luxurious, having stayed in a different room each time. The position is convenient to everything, great bus service. Best of all, the wonderful staff, Alan,Aey and Gayle are so friendly and welcoming. Rhonda and Geoff Moodie Ocean Grove Vic

The idea of spending two nights with my parents (and partner) in a 'home away from home" prompted a frenzied internet search for accommodation which catered for two separate bedrooms (with individual bathrooms), two parking spaces, and a fully equipped kitchen in a central location for a family related event.

Aqua Vista ticked all those boxes with a beautiful, modern and fully equipped two-bedroom apartment on the fourth floor. The photos I've attached explain the apartment. The check-in service was excellent and apart from that, we had no need for the staff for the remainder of our stay.

The weather was absolutely atrocious - pouring with rain for the duration - we couldn't even sit outside on the generous deck and enjoy the ocean views (even though it was two streets back from the ocean). No fault to Aqua Vista about this; just disappointing for us!

At $250 per night it was not an absolute steal, however we felt good value for money for comfort and location. You can save $$$ with self-catering. I initially checked Trip Advisor for comments and was slightly alarmed at earlier postings however times have certainly changed and I do not hesistate to recommend this establishment to all.
