This B & B is perched on the rim of the Blackall Mountains. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Your sumptuous breakfast is served in the upper sitting room area where you overlook the valley toward the Glass House Mountains. This is viewed through a large panorama window. Butcher birds and parrots flock to the verandah for their daily feed. The host are informative and friendly.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Braeside B&B in Maleny and were stunned with not only Ken and Elizabeth's hospitality, but also the gorgeous room we stayed in (Highlands). It was beautifully spacious, the ensuite with a spa was perfect, not to mention the amazing views of the Glasshouse Mountains! We awoke each morning to a words-cannot-express 2-course breakfast, overlooking the breathtaking view and also dozens of beautiful lorikeets feeding on the decking outside. They provided absolutely professional service with a very homely touch. Although you are staying in a house, it is well spaced out and privacy is still maintained. We will certainly be coming back!! From the moment we stepped in the front door, we knew we had made an excellent choice of accommodation in Maleny. Our hosts, Elizabeth and Ken, welcomed us into their home with its magnificent views and spacious surroundings.
Our executive sized room with ensuite opened onto a long verandah overlooking the valley and mountains. There are four guest rooms in the two story house and each level has a large adjacent lounge area for visitor’ use, where you can be entertained with music, board games, a good book in front of the log fire or choose from a wide selection of dvds.
Through most of the day you can watch the many breeds of Australian native bird life from the verandah, which stop by for a tasty morsel on the bird feeders. Lorikeets, parrots, kookaburras, galahs, pigeons and butcher birds, to name a few, are in residence.
A scrumptious homemade breakfast of three courses was served on our table for two overlooking the spectacular scenery. This meal was worthy of an award and thoroughly appreciated. What a wonderful start to our day of exploring this beautiful countryside.
Braeside B & B is definitely a place I would recommend to any couple wanting some rest and relaxation in beautiful surroundings with the added luxury of exceptional hospitality.
