We were at the Bethany cottages in the worst weather conditions imaginable. The road that led to the farm was threatening to flood. When we arrived at the main house where reception is we quickly discovered that the only way in was to run across the front lawn as there was no path or shelter. The lady at reception was friendly and helpful arranging some one to drive in front of us to show us to our cottage. The cottage was just gorgeous and in good weather the views would be out of this world, sadly for us it was pouring with rain and very misty most of the time however when it did lift for a short period of time we got a glimpse of how it would normally be. We stayed in a one bedroom cottage that had a sofa bed in the lounge and a nice little kitchen. The shower was only average but then it is on tank water so miracles can't be expected. The main bed was a little hard for our liking but the bedroom was lovely. We would love to go back on a fine day!
