I was disappointed on arrival to be told the in house restaurant was not open. All information I read when booking said the restaurant was open every day. I also expected that I would be able to have pool towels from the hotels (as is common in every hotel with a pool). The settling of the hotel is very nice and feeding the birds was a definate highlight of the stay. The hotel is noticiably older and in in need of some renovations but the rooms were very clean and comfortable

Looking very dated. Our A/C noisy and didn't work properly. Sleeping not very comfortable. Breakfast - juices were hot and fruit on platter looked as if it had been there for hours. Tennis courts need work. The evening buffet was very delicious and staff were friendly and courteous.

Hi, was very pleased with the level of cleanliness and the staff at this hotel.Lovely location at a great price.Staff went out of their way to be of service and make our stay better.Although not a luxury hotel they made up for that by the great service.Magnetic Island has allways been a family favourite and will allways be.The restaurant was very nice and clean, also well represented by the very courtious staff.The food was of a very good quality and well prepared.

Being in business coming here for a well deserved holiday we were extremely dissapointed. Moved rooms 5 times due to air conditioners and tvs not working. Possums or rats in ceilings. Booked for 6 days and should have left after day one. Because NO refund given!!!!
