The room was lovely, bed very very comfy!! we had the garden room, the bed was four poster. we had a separate changing area and also a huge bathroom with double jacuzzi bath and flat screen tv in it! we hired the cabin for a day that was lovely also, breakfast is amazing. yes it is in the middle of nowhere but with the use of a sat nab went went to nearby towns which were full of craft shops and lovely places to eat. It is expensive but if your with someone special i think its worth every penny, not somewhere i'd stay with the girls, definitely a romantic getaway.

We had a wonderful couple of nights here!! its just the perfect setting.
The suite was lovely and perfect for us being a family. Its was so big we actually had to explore it. Our 6 year old loved it!
The cabin was unbelievable, a truely amazing hideaway with hot tub and sauna! I would pay just for the cabin, a great way to spend the evening with my family!
Breakfast on the morning we did make it was very good, the homemade bread was so tasty and my poached eggs couldn't of been better!

I just read the last 'over hyped' review and i can't believe what i've read! You really can't please some people!
We didn't even realise it was 'hyped' in the first place. Its just a beautiful Place in a Stunning Country setting. The Owners Martin and Joan were very nice and all the staff pleasant and happy to help!
Don't even think twice about booking here, well worth it, truely special !!

The descriptions of Dannah Farm had raised our expectations. In reality it's a high quality B&B. There are some nice touches - honesty bar, lots of local info, glossy mags. These are countered by some missing touches that you'd expect with a 5 star establishment - no tissues in the room, no body lotion in the bathroom, no smiles from the staff (with one exception). It's miles away from anywhere, which has upsides & downsides. Be prepared to drive if you want to eat out. The 'rules' about not bringing your own food & drink in seemed a bit tyrannical.
The breakfasts are hearty, the dining room heavy & oppressive. The spa cabin is a nice idea but under-exploited. Why not offer massage/beauty treatments too?

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary this year and what a loverly B&B this is. There are about 10 rooms which are all very different and some of them have very special touches like four posters, spa baths or even private outdoor hot tubs. The room we stayed in was nice though we did feel a little cheated because it was supossed to have a private sauna in the room so we were looking forward to having a sauna together after our spa bath but in reality it was a one man sauna and if you were anything other than small in size then one person would not fit in it. Though for an extra cost you can hire the spa cabin for the day. This is a private log cabin with a settee, music system and tv in it. Then you get a sauna ( a proper one that would easy fit 4 people), a steam shower and an outdoor hot tub with it. We took some spa products with us (body scrub, deep sea body and face mud and massage oil) and made full use of the cabin for the whole day. Then there was the breakfast wow is all i can say. The ingredients and the service was great we would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting something a little bit special.
