We had expectations of it being a lovely hotel with good facilities including full spa facilities, we were not disappointed.
What we found;
The hotel was spacious and well maintained, the bedrooms, dining and bar area facilities were again spacious, well managed and clean. We booked on a special rate for dinner, bed and breakfast - the main restaurant is beautifully laid out and the food was 'modern' and a bit nouvo cuisine which made for good conversation.
The SPA;
The spa facilities were fab, nice size pool, sauna and steam room and all the additional treatments that you could wish for for fully indulgent pampering. There was also a full gym but we didn't make use of that as we had come for a very lazy weekend and we certainly got that. Both my wife and I had various massage's including hot stone's and fully body wraps - lovely!
The Staff;
The staff were wonderful, very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. This is a big hotel and conference complex but you never felt as if you didn't matter and there was always staff in view and ready to assist. It is very apparent that the management style is one of team work and this is certainly our observation and experience.
Party Event;
We also booked for the Valentine Party which included a three course meal, live band and disco. Unlike other combined packages we have experienced previously (not here), the food on that night was excellent, the band was very good indeed and the dance floor soon filled up - the whole evening was brilliant and the room was served by a separate bar and lounge area, again very spacious and no problem getting drinks.
Would we go again;
YES - An all round wonderful, relaxing experience and we will be going again in the not too distant future.

My husband and I took advantage of the fabulous all inclusive wedding package that the Yew Lodge has to offer. It is exceptional value for money, and included an amazing photographer who we will use for all family photos from now on.

From the day we first viewed the venue to the day after the wedding, the staff at the Yew Lodge can't do enough for you, they ensure you feel like nothing is too much trouble and we were very well taken care of. The wedding coordinators Dawn and Linsay ensure everything is planned in advance for your big day and allowed us to meet with them several times throughout the planning process to ensure all bases were covered.

Our Master of Ceremonies, Chris, was just superb. He ensured our day ran without a hitch and did everything we had asked of him and so much more. He also ensured staff took presents and cards to our room on a regular basis. He worked so hard on our wedding day and he really is a credit to the hotel.

During my stay which included the night before, the morning of and the night of the wedding I stayed in 3 rooms, all were perfectly adequate, the room we were given for the morning of the wedding was perfect as it had a large lounge area which was great for 4 bridesmaids and myself to all get ready in. Our wedding night room was also great, it was modern and spacious, with a whirlpool bath and some special treats from the hotel included (dressing gowns, slippers, chocolates etc).

Breakfast was fantastic, more choice than you could ever eat. The quality of the food at this hotel is amazing. The only small complaint we had was that there was far too much buffet food in the evening, it seemed like such a waste!

All in all, this hotel is a real gem, we would recommend it to anyone. You won't get any more for your money elsewhere.

Used this as I had an early flight out of EMA and they offered a parking service with drop off and pick up, wish I could have stayed longer than the 12 hours I was there.

Nice service in all areas, good staff, good food, and super clean.

I paid £72 for all this, but i noticed with interst that the tariff per night displayed at the front desk is £190, most odd, but good for me.

My Best Friend and i stayed for one night with a spa package. Our room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. All of the staff without exception were very friendly , especially one of the guys who worked in the dinning room. He was like the hotel entertainment, funny but without being annoying, yes we liked him a lot!! All in all we thought it was very pleasurable, and we would defiantly both return .....
