Stayed here for 2 nighst with work. Loved my room and the surrounding landscape/golf course, but was disappointed with speed of service in the restaurant, even when it was very quiet ;and the music... best suited for a crematorium frankly!

Spa and pool facilities were nice and clean. Internet connection a bit slow.

We have stayed here 3 times and had really nice meals in the Restauarnt. Rooms are very spacious and large beds.
Beautiful grounds to go walking just beware of the Golfer's though..
The Leisure Club which I am member of is very good but the hotel could consider a upgrade of the wet facilties .
I dont think enough attention is always given to the Cleanliness of the Leisure Club as the Rooms .
They do need more staff really I think ?

It is the third year running that we have stayed at this hotel and once again we had an enjoyable and relaxing weekend in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. The hotel is modern and comfortable with large rooms (even standard rooms) with the biggest beds I have ever slept in, and more importantly the rooms are clean and well maintained. We ate in the restaurant both nights, and the food is of the highest standard and the staff are attentive and polite and nothing is too much trouble. The spa and gym/pool facilities are of excellent quality, although there is no jacuzzi in the pool area.

My only complaints are around the lack of little luxuries which add to the quality feel of a hotel. The hotel has cut down on the number extras in the rooms, one set of towels per room rather than per person, one small bottle of water and one set of bathroom extras which does make it look like they are cutting down a little (a sign of the times I guess!).

Overall, a lovely stay and we will certainly return.

Stayed with friends for a golfing weekend. The only let down was the notable absence of barstaff which resulted in a number of guests often waiting some time for service. Waiters in the restaurant taking drink orders bizarrely had to traipse across the reception area to the bar and return. Very time consuming and inefficient. The hotel itself ticked all the boxes. The rooms were spacious and modern. The evening meal and also breakfast were of very good quality and served by very friendly, well trained staff who had to work hard to keep up. The condition of both golf courses was excellent given it was the middle of January. We booked the break with Your Golf Travel and all thought it represented great value for money.
