As a Guest House Owner i would like to say "PLEASE THINK ABOUT THE PRIVATE B&B"!!!!!!
But as the title says the bill was taken care of by a 3rd party..... Stockport Central .... Lovely Building, all very clean and warm, we ate in the adjoining Restaurant / Bar in the Evening very good and great value meal. Bev, on Reception what a LOVELY HELPFUL Lady. If i needed a Receptionist or Manager for my Guest House i would give the Job to BEV.

After a looooonnnnggggg journey by MegaBus (much, much longer than they or we had planned) we arrived in Manchester too late to get to the Premier Inn other than by a late and very expensive taxi, then found that the NON Premier Inn controlled restaurant would not serve us a meal, or let us have cash on our card and then said that the bar was closed.......at 10.40 pm.
Liam at reception in the Premier Inn tried his best but we could only get a cheap pizza takeway which he called out for us, then went got us some condiments from the restaurant. He could not have done more and made us as comfortable as possible.
The 'morning girl' was very apologetic and made sure we were looked after at breakfast, and gave us directions to the car dealership we were looking for. A cheery smile makes all the difference, as does staff who live locally.
What a superbly run Premier Inn!

Stayed for the first time at the Stockport Central Premier Inn rather than my usual haunt of the Trafford West Premier Inn. Lovely Staff, nice and very quiet.
The breakfast was cooked hot on demand - just the way I like it
Can not comment on the inhouse restaurant as I did not dine there but went out with work colleagues for the evening.

My mother in law and father in law stayed in this hotel bit we went with them to room which smelled of smoke. Even their grandson said the room smelled of cigarettes especially in the bathroom .When my father in law went to reception to complain he was told it was because the curtains had been ironed that day !
We went for a meal which was very nice but was disgusted by the state of the ladies toilet. One had no seat at all and an hour later the other one didnt either but no one seemed bothered about and said they would report it. We resorted to going to the in laws hotel room to use the facilities there.
We have stayed here a few times and not had a problem but wont be going again after todays events .
