Always a polite and helful welcome and a comfortable stay.

After 5 hours stuck in traffic on the M62 it was a welcome relief to arrive at the hotel to a friendly and efficient greeting. The room was clean and spacious. The bed, as always with a Premier Inn, was very comfortable. The only downside was that we needed to leave by 7:30am and the breakfast didn't start until 8am. The price was very reasonable.

We booked one nights stay here on Boxing day as we were attending a party in Stockport. 2 adults and 2 children for 1 nights stay inc breakfast was just £45 which we thought was a great price. We checked in at 5pm, ran in and got the key, the lady at reception was very smily and friendly gave us our key and told us it was on the first floor, no directions and it was like a maze, we quickly dropped our bags in and tried to turn on the heating so that it would be warm onn our return but it did not work, we did not have time to complain. we just rushed back out. at about 9pm we had to leave the family party due to my youngest child becoming unwell we returned, collected our bags and handed the key back to the same woman and tld her our child was ill so we were leaving, again she was very nice but offered no refund, not even the £15 we paid for breakfast. The room itself what we saw of it looked great, very clean and spacious, the bathroom looked very clean. We were gutted we did not get to stay but I am sure that we will stay there when we visit family in the future.

We always use Premier Inn when we visit family because it does what it says on the tin, and the £29 a night deals are extremely good vfm. Cheadle was no exception - we had 2 good nights sleep and it was clean and comfortable. This particular hotel is a bit down at heel though, and is probably due for refurbishing. The carpet was stained and the room smelled of old sweat. The staff were very friendly as always and although the hotel is on the flight path to the airport, the noise is not at all invasive. We'll use this hotel again.
