Typical mid price hotel. Neither good nor bad. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Bar souless, but ok although service was a bit slow even though not busy. Food ok, but nothing special. Rooms good and clean. Ideal for a short stay business trip.Nothing much to report really. Yet another average hotel.

Ideal for a one night stay on trip to see relatives, very clean, really helpful staff, only down point no jacuzzi with the pool, will definitely stay again.

Visited twice and had a great experience both times.
Rooms clean and good view to rear over boat museum and locks.

Stayed here for two nights between xmas and new year,husband,grandchildren as a base for visiting the zoo,cheshire oaks etc and found a hotel in a great location.Ibooked BB,Evening meal deal which was very good value.The evening meal was an allowance of £20 pp of the restaurant menu kids ate off the kids menu free,could not fault the food at all, however drinks are quite expensive in the bar,got kids drinks from the vending machine.Rooms are nice and comfy,staff very pleasant.Would def stay here again if visiting the Chester area.One thing though the restaurant needs a new toaster as it caught fire twice on the same morning as the toast kept getting stuck ha ha.
