My wife and I have stopped a couple of times when visiting friends in Dukinfield. Always found it spotless with very helpful staff and good breakfasts. OK, they do not show you to your room, but so what?? Last time we stayed we had a ground floor room in the main house. Great room, but a bit noisy especially with guests coming in from the pub in the early hours.

We always stay at Barton Villa whenever we come oop north to visit family. We stayed in the family room in the annexe and it was lovely and clean, plenty of hot water and the rooms were nice and warm. The breakfast was lovely and plenty of it and the staff are very friendly. Would go back time and time again.

I visit Ashton on a regular basis to do my family history or visit family in the area. I have stayed at Barton Villa on numerous occasions in the past 7 years either on my own or with family. There is always a warm friendly welcome at reception. The rooms have always been very clean and tidy. The breakfast is good with choice of grapefruit , cereal to a full english. Nothing has ever been too much trouble for the staff and they have gone out of their way to accomodate in the past. Great place to stay and I will return time and time again.

When visiting family in Ashton etc, we always stay at the Barton Villa. It is a very friendly hotel and the rooms are spotless and excellent value for money. The cooked breakfast is very tasty and there is always 'seconds' if required. The owners and staff go out of their way to make you feel at home and we would not consider staying anywhere else. We shall be back in 2012.
