“Relaxing stay with excellent service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

A stay at Stoke Park is to be highly recommended. The staff are very attentive and we were shown to our luxurious room complete with four poster bed, very large bathroom and welcoming open fire for a cold January day. The afternoon tea was excellent in a relaxing atmosphere and real first class service and food. The spa added to the brilliant break with excellent massages from vey skillful therapists, a large swimming pool with lovely open aspect onto the grounds, and peaceful relaxation areas. If you have time it is rewarding to explore the mansion and the heritage trail with some real historical surprises

“Fantastic weekend break/ spa break for couples”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

Warm friendly staff, genuine and willing to help.

Beautiful grounds that make you feel you are far away from London! You can choose between old, traditional rooms in the Mansion building or newer trendier rooms in the Pavilion building.
We stayed in the newer building, Pavilion and loved our room- the style is very James Bond- like (reflecting the fact that some James Bond films have been filmed here)!

Food was good in the Italian restaurant and the lounge areas are lovely in the Mansion.

Would highly recommend a stay here as part of a luxury weekend break for couples and make full use of spa too!

Room Tip: Pavilion building has modern rooms which are still warm and cosy. Mansion has older rooms- more tra...

“simply the best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

I had the pleasure of having an afternoon tea baby shower at Stoke Park. The staff were amazing, so helpful, attentive a real first class service. Highly recommended. The best cream tea I or any of the other 10 guests have ever had, and in such a beautiful location.

“Simply the most romantic room I've stayed in.”

Stoke Park is a wonderful hotel with a great history. We upgraded to the junior suite and it was delightful room with 4 poster bed, comfotable sofa, open fire and huge bathroom. Each room seems to be named after part of the hotels history. We stayed in the Sir Edward Coke room which had a wonderful view of the golf course from the large outdoor balcony.

The was amazing, the only fault a few large chips in the enamel on the sink, but didn't detract from the stay. The restaurant was excellent and good value for the level of food considering it was in a hotel Although it was an expensive treat, I would dedinately look at returning again for a romantic get away.

Staff were fantastic. Service was second to none! Doors were always opened for us. Real 5 star!

“Wow wow wow, highly recommend if you enjoy luxury & good food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

I have just stayed at this hotel for 2 days and 1 night with work on a conference and I was really impressed. We do stay at lovely hotels including Chewton Glen in the past but this is the best so far!

It was 5* luxury in my opinion and the food was exquisite. HOWEVER, it all came with NO stuffiness that you can get at 5* hotels, also even though the food was divine and amazing it was also not too fussy (which is great for people like me that like 'normal' food). I enjoyed the tornedos of beef on the evening and the salmon and then the lamb and mini shepherds pie for the lunches! Delicious!!!

ALL the staff were all lovely, so attentive and couldnt do enough, YET no intrusive and once more I must say again NOT stuffy.

My room (Hastings) was lovely, huge room, huge bed (very comfty) and amzing bathroom with marble sunken 6 ft bath and marble shower that could fit 4!

EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!

Thank you.
