Stayed here on business for one night. I have always made a point of staying at Best Western's wherever possible as they have never failed to disappoint and this hotel is no exception. The rooms as usual are big, very comfortable beds providing a great nights sleep, clean and a really smart and professional reception area. Breakfast was also to the usual very good standard provided by Best Western.
Being a business traveller, the free wi - fi was a bonus too!

stayed here new years eve , very good hotel , the rooms are a great size and very clean and compy , the staff are very friendly and take care of all your needs , the food in the resturant is first class and if your on a budget its perfect as the room only cost £45p with breakfast , the hotel also has a healh spa which re opens on the 11 of jan after a re fub , this is one of the best 3 star hotels we stayed at would highly recommend .

We stayed here as a base for accessing Oxfordshire and overall it was a pleasant stay. The hotel was easy to find, plenty of free car parking and the check in was quick and straight forward. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. Couple of minor grumbles, the bed (and pillows) were not at all comfortable and we both woke up with back ache. Also the heating somehow managed to turn itself off on the second day so had to trek down to reception to get it reactivated. Apart from that it was what you would expect from a Best Western and for the money we paid. Look out for the world's slowest toaster in the morning though.

We stayed here on Saturday 12th November. Check in was efficient and the hotel looked clean and attractive but the stairwell down to our room had a unpleasant odour (carpet cleaner?) Even worse, our bedroom smelt terrible. So much so that the back of my throat started to tingle. When we tried to order a bar meal (around (19.45) the person behind the bar told us we couldn't have a meal at the hotel because the hotel was entertaining a large family group and so we had to find an alternative! On returning to the hotel, we complained to the manager (Peter) who was very apologetic and he changed our room and offered to arrange a meal for us. The new room was fine, the rest of the stay was OK and breakfast was reasonable. It was just so disappointing to have to complain when this could have been avoided. However, the pool and Jacuzzi were excellent and made up for the disappointment. The pool was a nice size (for a hotel) and the jacuzzi was hot!
