We've now visited Casa de Mita three times and I can honestly say it gets better with every trip. Their recipe for success is simple: amazing service & staff, an alternating menu that is truly world class, and a stunning location.

We love to spend a few nights in downtown Puerto Vallarta before ending our trip at Casa de Mita. While the city offers all the sights and sounds you could want, Casa de Mita is more like a blissful retreat. If you need to stay in constant motion, this is not the vacation for you. If rest and relaxation is what you crave, you won't find a better place.

The staff at Casa de Mita now feel like family to us. They anticipate your next cocktail and desire long before you've even thought of it. Simply shut off your brain and let them take control.

Don't mistake this place as just another all-inclusive. With personal chefs who never fail to disappoint and the intimacy of only 8 rooms, the experience is one of a kind. We're already plotting our return trip!

This is one of the best places I have ever been to! Private setting, amazing food, great location, perfect for a couple that wants a quiet home-away-from home! The journey there was a bit alarming, but well worth the journey. We will be visiting again whenever we are able. The chefs prepare elegant meals whenever you request. For animal lovers there are two dogs that will join you for a walk or run on the beach!

If you can look past the bumpy ride in, this secret gem welcomes you as if you are family. In our 4 years visiting Punta Mita we have had the most consistently delicious, creative and graciously served meals at Casa de Mita. Magical setting, fantastic margaritas and a charm that entices you to stay and/or come back! The menu changes daily and is read by the ever-endearing Lalo, each course is more scrumptious than the last and they so aim to please! (and if you really can't decide on an entree, they'll split two for you!). By far, our favorite place in the area!

Our entire family spent 8 nights at this exceedingly well run little hotel. There is no request that is too much for them to fulfill. The meals were exceptionally well prepared and the portions generous. If you like fish this is the perfect place.

The rooms were charming and roomy, decorated with Mexican furniture and overlooking the sea. Speaking of the sea, kayaks, snorkel equipment and boogie boards are also available at no cost.

There is no need for a car. They will drive you into town if you want or organize a day trip into the mountains at a reasonable cost. Who really wants to leave such a perfect place?

Cannot recommend Casa Di Mita enough for those looking for good food, quiet relaxation and wonderful service.
