This is one of the best places I have ever been to! Private setting, amazing food, great location, perfect for a couple that wants a quiet home-away-from home! The journey there was a bit alarming, but well worth the journey. We will be visiting again whenever we are able. The chefs prepare elegant meals whenever you request. For animal lovers there are two dogs that will join you for a walk or run on the beach!

If you can look past the bumpy ride in, this secret gem welcomes you as if you are family. In our 4 years visiting Punta Mita we have had the most consistently delicious, creative and graciously served meals at Casa de Mita. Magical setting, fantastic margaritas and a charm that entices you to stay and/or come back! The menu changes daily and is read by the ever-endearing Lalo, each course is more scrumptious than the last and they so aim to please! (and if you really can't decide on an entree, they'll split two for you!). By far, our favorite place in the area!

Our entire family spent 8 nights at this exceedingly well run little hotel. There is no request that is too much for them to fulfill. The meals were exceptionally well prepared and the portions generous. If you like fish this is the perfect place.

The rooms were charming and roomy, decorated with Mexican furniture and overlooking the sea. Speaking of the sea, kayaks, snorkel equipment and boogie boards are also available at no cost.

There is no need for a car. They will drive you into town if you want or organize a day trip into the mountains at a reasonable cost. Who really wants to leave such a perfect place?

Cannot recommend Casa Di Mita enough for those looking for good food, quiet relaxation and wonderful service.

Don't let the rural little road fool you, when you reach the gate and you are welcomed in it is like you have entered PARADISE!!!! We went only for dinner after friends suggestion, and wish we could stay a week. Furniture's, the ambiance, the details the service is impeccable, we enjoyed a four course meal, starting with some green giant mussels steamed and prepared with a nice lite cream sauce and poblano pepper, then we choose a mix green salad with Camembert cheese and a delightful vinaigrette with beets puree for me and a cream of poblano pepper soup for my girlfriend, both unbelievable tasty, light and flavorful, our main course was a classic New York steak grilled to perfection so tasty and the size was great ( something that in the US you pay at least $ 50), my girlfriend had a Mahi Mahi with a Veracruzana sauce, a sweet and sour sauce made with light tomato sauce, green pepper, green olives and capers, dessert was a mango cream brulee. But beside all this description, I want to point the wonderful service, not too slow not too fast, margaritas, bottle of water all served by these two brothers Lalo and Mamo, who made our night special and felt like we were at home, they have great customer service skills, and for me to be in the hospitality business it's hard to find two great guys like them. Don't want to be excessive, but a dinner and a stay at this place is worth the entire price. By the way our dinner was only $ 86!!!!!!!
We've dined every single day out, lunches and dinners, and this is by far our favorite, no comparison!
