I recently had to travel to Monclova for work, and they put me up in the Four Points. It's conveniently located, right on the main thoroughfare through town, but not within walking distance of the main plaza. The lobby is nice enough, and the desk help were friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was adequate. Overall however, the hotel was just that, adequate. The view from the room was a concrete wall, the pool area was nothing to write home about, and the restaurant was about as bland and character-less as you can imagine. The $10 breakfast was not exactly a bargain either. If you just need a convenient, generic chain hotel to rest your head at night, then the Four Points is for you. But if you want a place with character, with history, or with charm, then you should probably keep looking.
