Just back from a wonderful Pilotos Reunion at Santos. Many friends that we have made by attending the reunions and visits on our own were in attendance. We always feel as if we have come home when we land at the airport less the stress, hassles and everyday interruptions of life. Exceptional staff and attention to detail are at the forefront of ones stay. Your greeted as family and treated as if your a diplomat. Relax by the pool, read a book, watch a movie in the theater or even connect through wifi to the outside if necessary. Feast on food as if your in the best five star restaurant or have your meal in your room. You choose the level of interaction with anyone. If you have not been put it on your list. I've walked the areas through town and feel just as safe as if I am home. This is mexico as you believe it should be, Alamos is a beautiful Colonial Mexico town, friendly and safe.

Wow! When one explores outside the usual tourist hot spots of a country you don't expect to find a place of such beauty, grace and charm at such a high scale. Stunning property with excellent service and a lot of history. Well worth a detour or anlong jouney to get to.

The suites, food and staff were wonderful. The town is charming and my only regrets are that I didn't take as many pictures as I should have, and I should have stayed another day or three. This was an amazing experience. I hope to return at least once again in my lifetime.

The Swickards have done an unbelievable job of combining historical authenticity with modern elegance. The ambiance there is purely magical. Don''t miss it.
