“Posada de La Salud: A good, budget Hotel”

We had been at the Posada de La Salud twice before; in 1991, 2004 and in September, 2005. The price has risen from about $11 USD in 1991 to $32 USD in 2005, but that is to be expected. The hotel is attractive, well-maintained, rooms arranged around two patios, and the beds are comfortable. The only drawback is that the smallness and layout of the room we stayed in, means having to sidle around to get to the clothes hanging area.
The bathroom is adequate but there were some problems with water noises.

The staff is kind and helpful. The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from the main plazas of Pátzcuaro.
