I'll be honest, we picked this hotel because it was a) close to my daughter's soccer tournament and b) a suite (everyone sleeps much better) .

The staff were friendly and professional during the check-in, the suite was very well appointed and roomy (my daughter commented that the bathroom was bigger than her bedroom at home - a slight exaggeration). Despite our room facing the highway we couldn't hear any traffic noise. All-in-all I'd rate this hotel as a hidden treasure and would definitely stay there again.

I recently stayed at the Chateau & it was a great experience. The staff were extremely professional & attentive, but not cloying. The bedroom was beautiful & extremely spacious. I ate at the hotel & the meals were delicious & beautifully presented. While the location, off the Trans-Canada highway, may seem unpromising, the hotel service & amenities more than compensate. As well, the view of the river is lovely & I am sure the grounds in the summer would be very pleasant.

We went there last year (2011) with the kids for a Mother's Day Brunch, and I was very impressed. At first I wasn't sure what to expect expecially with 2 young kids that might be "picky" at times. Everything was incredible. This buffet style brunch was out of this world, so much choice, you counld't go wrong. Afterward, we walked around the grounds, which are breath taking.

We will be there again next year.

We were there for one night, Dec. 29, 2011. Location is perfect : 30 min. from downtown Montreal. Beside the highway but you can't tell cause it's so quiet. We had room 201, with a view on the lake. Spacious room with bed part behind french doors. 2 tv's, jacuzzi tub, robes, slippers, more than usual towels, full bar, 3 telephones. We were impressed with the breakfast (included in your room price), wide variety, all-you-can-eat and delicious coffee. It cost 190$ and was worth it. We'll go back.
