This is the place to stay in Sutton, bar none. Mont Sutton skiing is excellent and this is the place to stay.

Our stay in Sutton (a well kept secret) was all too short but our overnight at Vert Le Monde was just great. Welcomed by host Lynda with a refreshing cuppa and home made cookies we were provided with really useful local info - Lynda obviously loves the area and is an enthusiastic contributor to the community. Lynda and Jay are warm and friendly hosts without being intrusive - they deserve success. 'Their' home quickly becomes 'your' home.A scrumptious and hearty breakfast including home made jams sets you off for the day ahead. A scrupulously clean and loved house. My wife and I wholeheartedly recommend Vert Le Mont to fellow travellers, you will be refreshed, relaxed and reinvigorated.

First, it's a beautiful home, with a gorgeous wrap-around porch on which to sit and sip wine, or have breakfast on a warmer morning, or just relax with friends or a book. We walked in the door on a slightly cool evening, and were welcomed with a fire in the cozy sitting room. Lynda and Jay are marvelous hosts who ooze enthusiasm for the Sutton area, music, books, food, travel, and are a font of knowledge if you request ideas or directions for the day. Lynda also whips up great breakfasts to start your day, catering to your dietary needs or whims. All rooms have their own bathrooms, or perhaps, more accurately, water closet. Small, but it's all there in your room. The location couldn't be more convenient to downtown Sutton, not to mention the wine trails and all that the area has to offer. We caught the foliage fairly near its peak. Our only disappointment was not having another couple of days to spend there.

I come to Sutton every year for a bike race. I stay at the Vert le Mont because of the friendly atmosphere, the big beautiful rooms, the proximity to the main street and above all the awesome hosts.
This house is an oasis. It is the house you wish you had grown up in. You could spend a week just lounging on the spacious veranda, vaguely remembering the life you left behind... toying with the idea of not going back.
