We stayed at the Chateau Roberval on August 3rd 2011. Our room smelled bad; had torn curtains and most of all, it had a broken button to control the ventilation system. We seemed to disturb the staff at the reception when we brought it to their attention. They nevertheless had us visit 2 other rooms which were no better ( very noisy fan in one and again a broken ventilation button in the other one). The bus boy mentioned that this is often reported but that it never gets repaired. Reception staff then told us that a note would be left for the supervisor the next morning. When I spoke to the supervisor , she had never heard of the problem, claimed to have no authority to compensate us and referred us to Sylvain [--] who never bothered contacting us.
Also, the room to lock the bikes was never locked and there again we seemed to bother the staff when we pointed out that we would like it to be locked considereing the value of our bikes and the mere fact that we were told that they have a locked room for bikes.
There are lots of great hotel in that vicinity so do yourself a favor, go somewhere else..
