From the moment we walked into this B&B, we were charmed by the tasteful and homey living area with its fireplace and oriental rugs and our large well-appointed bedroom that slept the five of us who had come to Montebello to ski the Canadian Ski Marathon. But it was the warm welcome we received from B&B owners Jane and Peter that made us immediately love the place. They welcomed us in as family and before long we were chatting with them by the fire over wine and cheese. They even put a drying rack by the fireplace in the living room to dry our wet and sweaty ski clothes, and served us hot tea when we came in from a day of skiing in the cold. Breakfasts were hearty and healthy and just right to start a day of skiing and Jane's stuffed french toast was to die for. And thanks to Peter, who helped me find my lost skis!!!

With a breakfast that is far superior to anything you could get at home!

Owners were very kind and interesting to talk to. We brought our 2 month baby along and they were so great with her. It was just the kind of retreat we were looking for, with a HUUUGE tub in the room that we had bubble baths in every night while our baby slept in the next room. Divine!

A very warm and welcoming B&B. Our accommodation (queen room on main floor) was comfortable and what made it special was the private entry to a small patio overlooking the gardens. The property is beautiful and during the warmer months, guests can enjoy the gardens as well as the lovely verandas.
Breakfast is first class and what one could expect in a fine dining establishment. Hosts Jane and Peter know their business and it shows.
This B&B is deserving of the top marks it has received from guests.

What a wonderful place and hostess! First, the whole place is beautiful. The house is big, beautifully decorated and clean. I loved the garden, the veranda where we have had breakfast, the room and bathroom. The bed and couette were comfortable and the room well ventilated. But, most of all, our hosts were the friendliest and the breakfast, somptuous! We really felt treated like family.
