Let me start by saying , it is beautiful old house and makes no pretensions to be a quaint modern B&B. Instead you have owners Jean and Paul who adopt you as part of their family. Staying here and talking to them you get a history lesson on the last 40 years on the Island.
Dinner is not to be missed. Paul, handsome in his kilt, is responsible for serving and more experience sharing The first course salad is straight out of his garden. It is fresh and unique. The effort that goes into this salad is unbelievable. Now comes the main course, Jean cooks terrific dishes using great technique and vegetables, again home grown that you could only dream of. Dessert is great too.
This is not a four star hotel and it makes no such pretensions. But if you want to have the time of your life and be greeted like long lost friends, this is a don't miss.
Re Price, the meals are one price and Paul could not be more generous with the food and wine. I was embarrassed the next morning when I saw the check and realized how much I ate and drank.
This kind of place is why one goes to PEI; to relive a world long lost in the more populated areas.
