Sorry to hear that the other reviewer disliked this place. I visited it twice, 1996 and 2004 and both times I was overwhelmed by Paul's hospitality and his ability to make the guest feel like coming home to your own home.
We stayed there two times for the four - course dinner menu. When we made the reservation in advance we chose a meat, fish or a vegetarian menu. When we arrived we were welcomed in the cosy fireplace room for an aperitif and crackers. After a short while we moved to the dining room close to the cute and authentic kitchen and always found an imaginative decoration with fresh garden flowers and candles. The food was delicious and crisp. Paul provided matching classical music from his collection of records.
I don't remember if I have met his wife Jean but I can't remember any discomfort when I stayed also in their B&B in spring 2004. Me and my partner liked this place and I would be happy to read nowadays reviews soon.
